Take your time, remember your ticket allows re-entry throughout the day. So should the otters be at rest or you need refreshments after enjoying the butterflies feel free to come back later. Don’t forget the otters are fed at 11.30am, 2.00pm and 4.30pm.

While at Buckfastleigh enjoy a scenic steam train ride alongside the River Dart aboard the South Devon Steam Railway discounted joint tickets are available from our reception and the South Devon Railway ticket offices.

The Vintage Bus Service is a free service our ticket holders can enjoy. You may travel from the Station to Buckfast Abbey and around the town of Buckfastleigh with a regular service throughout the day. Please check for running days and times.

There is a Riverside Walk beside the River Dart along with a childrens play area and maze to be enjoyed. These facilities are to be found on the South Devon Railway site. Ticket holders have free access via the gate in the car park adjacent to the bottom of the footbridge crossing the railway line.
