Welcome to the Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary and Buckfast Butterfly Farm.
A small, friendly, family run place to visit in South Devon, ideal for a family visit whatever the weather.

Opening Times & Admission
Over the Christmas holiday we are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
We are open again on December 27th through to January 2nd from 10.30 am to 3pm.
It is OTTERS ONLY, the butterfly house is closed until the spring.
The best times to see and enjoy the otters are the feeding times at 11.30am and 2.00pm.

This is the best time to come and meet our otters, our keeper will give a talk and tell you all about our resident otters and why they are with us.
Underwater Viewing area
Come and see our amazing otters underwater agility.
Have you met Izzard?
He is our resident iguana
We rescued and re-homed Izzard, he is about 11 years old now and loves showers to cool down and loves a good neck scratch from our keepers.
