Rescued Orphan
Orphaned, abandoned or injured otters and cubs are
brought to us and cared for in our special facility.
Feeding & Care
As soon as possible they are transferred to a purpose-
built enclosure away from the public.
Health Check
With regular health checks the process of becoming a wild otter again happens over a
period of up to twelve months.
Back to the wild
The otters are later transferred to a soft release site
for a short time. Then they are released back into the wild
for a second chance to be a wild otter.
